The Gold Coast is renowned for its unique and beautiful beaches, stretching from the southern end at Rainbow Bay to South Stradbroke Island in the north. Residents and visitors enjoy our beautiful beaches year round.

In fact, the 52 kilometres of golden beaches are the city’s playground. They’ve drawn people here for decades and continue to be the heart of our lifestyle and economy.

A new strategic direction has already seen a fresh focus in several areas, including increased arts funding, elevating our rich indigenous heritage, contemporary music and mentoring local talent in non-traditional and innovative art forms.
